Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure more commonly known as a “nose job” designed to alter the size or the shape of the nose while maintaining and or improving the functional airway of the nose. The ideal outcome brings the nose into harmony and balance with the rest of your facial features and softening the features of the nose which might otherwise be distracting. This procedure can be performed in conjunction with a septoplasty, a medical procedure designed to address the nasal airway. Dr Lee is double board certified in Otolaryngology as well as FacialPlastic surgery and has extensive experience in both aesthetic, functional, reconstructive and revision rhinoplasty surgery. Rhinoplasty, also known as a "nose-job", is a nuanced surgery that can address the specific issues you may have with the size and shape of your nose so that its appearance better fits your ideal image. A variety of changes can be made to your nose to address both aesthetic and functional issues. Some of the common aesthetic issues that lead people to pursue rhinoplasty include: round or wide nasal tip, large nasal hump, asymmetrical nostrils, wide nasal bridge, and excess length. Some people may also suffer from breathing problems due to a deviated septum or some other obstruction that is impeding the flow of air through the nasal cavity. Surgery can be performed to clear the nasal pathway and improve breathing. This is called a Septoplasty and can be performed separately or in conjunction with rhinoplasty.
